Exceptionally Vehicle

The Venza an Impressive vehicle and the driving experience gets better as she broken in. It’s well tune in Handling and power for daily driving. Fuel economy exceeds Toyota’s numbers as I’ve seen 45.8 mpg. -Impressive.... Online reviews show touch volume and adjustments require constant tapping. -This is Wrong..... Volume, fan, temperature settings adjust easy by just keeping the finger on the touch selection. What’s very well..... This vehicle equipped in Limited model is outstanding in the following categories: • Soft -Tec material • interior ergonomic design • intuitive 12.3 display • touch screen operation for audio, temp, navigation, and monitoring system. • Seating front and rear space well design. • Panoramic clear/frost option to diffuse interior lighting. • Numerous safety features that work well in lane assist, blind spot, and birds eye viewing of vehicle. • Quite cabin with the exception on poorly maintained roads. Exterior: • Excellent aerodynamic lines that flow front to rear. • Pearl White and Red color accents the lines on the vehicle well. • Designed in similarly to Lexus NX and RX and Porsche/Jaguar rear end lights. Mechanical: • 2.5 4 cylinder and electric motor provides performance of a 6 cylinder with outstanding fuel economy. • Auto AWD a brilliant touch to mechanical design of vehicle. • Gas/Electric motor working in tandem and shifting on the fly is unnoticeable. • More than sufficient power at 219hp with (3) options of Sport, Normal and ECO modes. • Handling on turns impressive for a crossover SUV. -Outstanding vehicle for its class… - 4.0
Lots of tech, short on usability.

The Venza is all about comfort, featuring a smooth drive train, great ride and a handsome interior. Top hybrid performance is the icing on the cake. The transition from battery to engine power is literally seamless. Available storage is somewhat lacking compared to others in the compact arena, partly due to the swoopy back end. I would highly recommend the 12" screen, optional in the XLE as it comes with a JBL 1200 Watt audio system. I've never experienced audio that crisp in my life. It really adds to the driving pleasure. Why a hybrid.. recently I averaged 46 MPG on a 20 mile trip over country roads. Mind you this is a 4,900LB vehicle.… - 4.0
Good, not great
By Advisory | on Tuesday, November 24, 2020
On a long trip, as a driver, very comfortable. Smooth transfer from electric to gas motor, and CVT no problem.. Mileage about 37 mpg. Cargo space is small and no gizmos to tie down items. Selector switch on wheel to set up cruise control is awkward. Switches are too small and close together so accidental disengagement of cruise happens often. Ride is quiet around town, wind noise on highway. Ride is not special over bumps, but passable. Brakes are great. Don’t mind tap-tapping to increase sound volume or fan speed -reviewer complaints not shared by me. Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is so-so. Adaptive cruise control is good. Lane tracing, meh. So called learning of routes to optimize gas consumption - well, it’s on the menu, but no evidence of activity. Surround camera and backup camera good. Proximity warnings are activated for ample room, not just enough, so not too helpful. Digital rear view mirror can be useful if regular mirror is obstructed, but it has the odd property that, unlike a regular mirror, your eyes have to refocus on the screen, instead of simply seeing a reflection— takes getting used to. Overall, handles nicely, gas milage good, safety equipment passable, looks — well so-so in my view.…
